You have authority and power in Jesus
Who Are You

Power isn’t what makes you special

There’s a lot made of reclaiming your power these days. And that’s well and good. We DO have intrinsic power, and we DO have a responsibility to own it and use it wisely.

But power isn’t what makes you special. All God’s creatures have a measure of power. Even Satan! Just ask Job.

What makes humans different, what makes you a living powerhouse of divine might, is that in addition to power, you also have AUTHORITY.

Although he’s the roaring king of this fallen world, Satan has no legal right to harm human beings without their consent or God’s say-so. He has power but no intrinsic authority.

Humans, however, have both power AND authority.

You are ROYALTY, a co-heir with Christ, a child of the Most High King, and your jurisdiction is boundless.

That doesn’t mean that you’ll never be attacked. You’re still going to have problems. The enemy still exists (and, man, is he persistent).

Authority means that, because of Jesus, you have the right to reject attacks, to cast down evil, to break chains—or to just ignore them and choose peace and faith over fear and worry.

Your power is God-given. So is your authority. Reclaim them BOTH and step into your full inheritance.

“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” [Luke 10:19 AMPC]
