First microscope image of snowflake patterns
Who Are You

You’re not a special snowflake

Turns out you’re not a special snowflake. You’re actually BETTER.⁣

No two snowflakes are alike, their individual crystals formed by variations in salt content, wind patterns, and temperature changes to create the roughly ONE SEPTILLION snowflakes that fall on Earth each year. ⁣

That’s 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 works of art you need a microscope to see.⁣

And yet they melt away, their unique pattern never to be seen again.

If that’s the care God put into creating something beautiful and perfect that we barely register and disappears in the sun (and let’s be real, cuss at when it shows up), how much more care did He put into creating YOU–a sentient, living, breathing, loving bearer of His own image?

Just something to think about this winter.⁣

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!” [Ps 139:13-17]⁣
