Where do you encounter the presence of God? At church? In worship? In prayer?

What about while you’re cooking? Or exercising? In line at the store?

God is not separate from your daily life. He’s not hiding or absent or locked in a building you visit once a week.⁣

He’s WITH YOU. All the time.⁣

He’s waking you up each morning.⁣
He’s riding shotgun to work.⁣
He’s chatting around the water cooler.⁣
He’s sitting at the dinner table.
He’s watching Netflix on the couch.⁣

Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing (except driving: eyes on the road), close your eyes, still your mind, and welcome the presence of God.⁣

Do you feel it? Do you hear Him?

God’s presence can be strong and passionate and loud, just like any great romance, but it isn’t restricted to a time, place, or state of mind.⁣

He’s ALWAYS close. Comforting. Familiar. Which is both mind-meltingly amazing and so normal that we usually don’t notice.⁣

The all-powerful God of the universe is right there, right now, with you. As close as your breath. Part of your everyday, normal life. Just pause for a moment and say hi.⁣
